Scientific awareness

 Scientific awareness and scientific behavior do not happen automatically. It requires sustained learning and effort. In the West, religion and ignorance were eliminated through Renaissance and Enlightenment, and science and rationality were advanced. In studying the West, Japan pays the most attention to learning the scientific spirit of the west and then uses the learned scientific knowledge to invent and create.
